About The Position

Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education (CCRCE) is seeking applications for substitute teachers. CCRCE employs a large number of permanent and casual/substitute staff who support approximately 20,000 students across 65 schools, 4 bus garages, and 4 office buildings. Successful candidates will be added to the substitute list and will have the flexibility to choose the schools where they wish to substitute.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Bachelor’s Degree

Nice To Haves

• Applicants without a Bachelor of Education degree are encouraged to apply and may be eligible to apply for a Permit to teach.
• Résumé with a concise covering letter highlighting relevant qualifications and experience.
• Child abuse registry and Criminal Record Check-Vulnerable sector prior to employment.
• Original university transcripts if successful and applying for a permit to teach.
