The Substitute Teacher provides a warm, nurturing, stimulating, safe and loving environment where each child can develop language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills appropriately. This role involves stepping in as the Primary Caregiver/Teacher when the regular classroom teacher is absent, familiarizing oneself with daily activities, and assisting in implementing culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate educational activities for children aged birth to 5 years. The substitute teacher is expected to foster nurturing relationships, maintain program standards, and ensure the safety and well-being of children.
