About The Position

Kokua Education is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-27 school year in the Manor, TX area, including Windsor Hills, Dessau, and surrounding Austin areas. This part-time role allows you to set your own schedule, earn up to $200 per day, and make a significant impact on students' lives. You will be responsible for fulfilling classroom needs, acting as a positive role model, and sparking a love for learning. The position offers a path to full-time employment and the opportunity to teach close to home in K-12 schools across the Austin area. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience working with children in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
Completed 48+ college credit hours.
Confidence in managing a classroom of students.
Willingness to step in where needed.
Ability to pass state & federal background checks.
Belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world.

Nice To Haves

Long-term assignments (all qualification levels) can earn up to $200 daily.
Associate's degree or higher can increase daily pay.
Resume should include all relevant experience working with students.

Responsibilities

Fulfill classroom needs by covering lesson plans.
