Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Monte Cassino School is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide an appropriate educational atmosphere that encourages student learning and the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth and maturity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, demonstrate initiative independently and within a team context, and embrace the joys and challenges of working in a school environment with empathy and resilience. This role involves maintaining classroom order, supervising students, and following provided lesson plans.

Responsibilities
- Keeping children safe by supervising and maintaining classroom order throughout the school day.
- Following lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher or other designated teacher.
- Performing all auxiliary duties on the absent teacher’s schedule (i.e., before school, lunch, recess, and/or after school duty).
- Performing other duties as assigned by administration.
- Checking in at the office daily upon arrival.
