About The Position

Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Substitute Teacher for its New Day Academy. New Day Academy is a state-supported year-round K-12th grade school with vocational opportunities, located within the Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center, an acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center for children and adolescents ages four through eighteen. The substitute teacher will perform professional duties as required by the school's policies under the direction of the Principal. This role involves demonstrating curriculum knowledge, providing instructional services to students, effectively assessing student achievement, and taking responsibility for professional development. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
• Must have experience in behavioral management using a variety of intervention techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Special Education preferred.
