About The Position
Head-Royce School is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic educators to join our substitute teacher list. Opportunities are available across all departments and divisions. This role offers a valuable opportunity to learn more about Head-Royce School and our campus. Selected candidates will undergo an initial screening with Division representatives or Department Chairs, followed by onboarding with HR, which includes Livescan, TB, and SB848 clearance. Once cleared, substitutes will be contacted in advance whenever possible to coordinate expectations and duties with the lead teacher. More experienced substitutes may be given up to 24 hours notice for assignments.

- Willing to undergo Livescan background check and TB screening.
- Compliance with California SB 848, requiring disclosure of previous educational employment.
- Provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, state special school, diagnostic centers operated by the CA Department of Education, and/or private schools with which they have previously been employed, regardless of the length of service.
- Include any full-time, part-time and/or substitute employment positions on the application.

Responsibilities
