Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Benjamin Franklin Charter School is looking for Substitute Teachers for our K-6 Power campus. This is a part-time, on-call position with a rate of pay of $180/day for full-day assignments. The role involves supporting BFCS Vision, Mission, and Goals, promoting and adhering to BFCS policies and procedures, and providing a safe, positive environment for students. Substitute teachers are expected to follow lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher to ensure effective instruction and be punctual and prepared for their shifts. The position also includes performing other related duties as required. Requirements
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or a valid Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check upon hire
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
