About The Position

Farmington Public Schools is hiring daily substitutes for grades K-12. Substitutes have the flexibility to choose the days they work and the grade levels/subjects they wish to substitute for. Assignments can be obtained through the Red Rover online substitute placement system via telephone, internet, or app. Substitute positions for teachers and paraprofessionals are available.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or ED 174 approval listing experience working with children.
• Submit two professional references.
• Submit a copy of Bachelor degree transcripts, if applicable.
• Be fingerprinted within 30 days of approval.

Nice To Haves

• Certified as a teacher by the State of CT

Responsibilities

• Substitute teach in grades K-12.
• Accept assignments via telephone, internet, or app through the Red Rover system.

Benefits

• New Substitutes: $128 per day ($138 per day if certified as a teacher by the State of CT)
• After One Year of Experience: $133 per day
• After Two Years of Experience: $138 per day
