About The Position
This is a long-term substitute position for a 3rd-grade teacher at LSES. The role is on an as-needed basis, with approximate dates of employment from August 10th to October 17th.
Requirements
- Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Certificate (GED).
- Must hold a valid Virginia Teaching license to qualify for teaching in excess of ten days or intermittently in excess of 90 days in any one school year.
Responsibilities
- Follow oral and written directions.
- Establish effective working relationships with staff and students.
- Maintain effective classroom management strategies.
