About The Position

Kokua Education is seeking Substitute Teachers in Fort Worth, TX, to fill a vital role in the community by providing positive role models in classrooms and sparking a love for learning. This part-time position offers the flexibility to set your own schedule, with the potential to earn up to $167 per day. The role involves stepping in where needed, including classroom instruction, lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season. Requirements

• At least 1 year of working with children in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
• Completed 48+ college credit hours.
• Confidence in managing a classroom of students.
• Willingness to step in where needed.
• Ability to pass state & federal background checks.
• Belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world.

Responsibilities

• Teach in classrooms, potentially covering lesson plans.
• Provide lunch/recess supervision.
• Monitor hallways.
• Offer tutoring.
• Proctor during testing season.
• Act as a positive role model for students.
• Add representation by sharing unique experiences with children.
