About The Position

LLE Education Group is seeking enthusiastic "on-call" Substitute Teachers for their Child Care centers. As a Substitute Teacher, you will assist in covering key positions within the district. The role is hourly, on-demand, and offers competitive pay. Substitutes will be scheduled for all shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 am to 6:30 pm. This position reports to the Center Director and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a related role for a licensed childcare or educational facility required
• Ability to meet Virginia licensing standards and pass a background check
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs

Nice To Haves

• CDA, ECE certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field or equivalent coursework

Responsibilities

• Ability to travel and cover positions within the district (Stafford, Triangle, Woodbridge, Lorton, Dale City)
• Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students
• Support children through learning, play, meals, and rest
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment
• Collaborate with your team to develop creative curriculum ideas
• Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates
• Cover lunch, breaks, and other duties as assigned
