About The Position

Under the direction of the Principal, the Special Education Paraprofessional is responsible for working with students with disabilities in meeting the academic, behavioral, emotional, social and physical needs as identified in the goals and supports of services of the IEP. Supports occur in either an individual or small group setting under the guidance of the special education or classroom teacher. Annandale Public Schools is host to approximately 1,980 unique, eager learners ages birth through 12th grade and 275 motivated and dedicated staff members.

Requirements

• Must be available to work M-F during the school year.
• Must be available to work as needed and as available.

Responsibilities

• Working with students with disabilities in meeting their academic, behavioral, emotional, social and physical needs as identified in the goals and supports of services of the IEP.
• Providing support in either an individual or small group setting under the guidance of the special education or classroom teacher.

Benefits
