About The Position
To strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning. To promote optimal levels of well-being in students and staff. Participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating school health program goals, objectives, and procedures in cooperation with school personnel and community resources.
Requirements
- Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Must have a minimum of two years of supervised nursing experience in community health, or child health, or related field prior to entry into school nursing practice.
