About The Position

If you enjoy working with children and ensuring their safety, the City of Altoona has a great opportunity for you as a Substitute School Crossing Guard. As a Substitute Crossing Guard, you will provide a level of safety to school students at various locations within the City of Altoona. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work on an as-needed basis when regular Crossing Guards are unavailable, during the Altoona Area School District 2026 - 2027 academic year.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
