About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking an energetic and creative Substitute Preschool Teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and developmentally supportive learning environment. The teacher embraces the company’s educational philosophy and works with educators to deliver a fun, development-focused curriculum. The role includes documenting children’s daily milestones for parents, collaborating with teachers and leaders, observing children’s interests and extending their play with language, toys, and activities, encouraging positive social skills and behavior, and helping plan varied daily schedules with quiet time, active play, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine- and gross-motor experiences. The substitute must be flexible and available to step in during business hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
Be flexible and ready to step in during business hours.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.

Responsibilities
