About The Position
Adequately prepares for classroom instruction, keeps students motivated and interested in the program, ensures students set realistic attainable goals, and maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom. This role also involves accounting for students when they are under your responsibility, maintaining accurate student records and files, and adhering to all DOL, Company, Center, and department guidelines, as well as guidelines determined by outside agencies. The Substitute Instructor develops corrective action plans for students with deficiencies, monitors statistical data related to GED tests and scores, and develops instructional plans using TABE diagnostic for students who do not meet requirements. Other duties as assigned.
