About The Position

The Art of Motion is seeking an experienced substitute dance teacher to join their teaching team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap, and possess afternoon and evening availability. This position is located in Fayetteville, AR, and is part of the Ensemble Performing Arts network. The Art of Motion has been inspiring Northwest Arkansas to dance since 2001, serving ages 2.5 and up with programs for all levels. Ensemble Schools is a collaborative network of community-driven Music & Dance schools that share resources for collective success, with a mission to empower artists by safeguarding the businesses that love them.

Requirements

Experience in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap.
Afternoon and evening availability.
Pass a routine background check.
Dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Nice To Haves

Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).

Responsibilities

Instruct group classes in various styles for various age groups.
Have and utilize solid foundation in dance.
Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
