About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced substitute dance instructors for Pointe of Grace, a studio in Katy, Texas. The role involves providing engaging, in-person instruction for students of all ages in ballet, tap, acro, hip hop, musical theater, contemporary, and jazz. Instructors follow the studio’s lesson plans and curriculum and help students develop dance technique, confidence, creativity, and life skills in a safe, positive environment. Open evening availability and the ability to step in as needed are desired. This is a part-time position. Pointe of Grace emphasizes age-appropriate dancing, costumes, and music, and uses encouraging instruction to help students feel loved and cherished. The studio aims to nurture creativity and artistic development in a warm, supportive environment. Ensemble Schools is a collaborative network of community-driven music and dance schools that provides shared resources and professional growth opportunities for teachers. Applicants should have a solid foundation in multiple dance styles, experience teaching or working with young dancers, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Candidates should be dependable, professional, enthusiastic, punctual, and friendly. Preferred qualifications include an engaging personality and professional dance experience, a dance degree, several years of teaching experience, or current senior status in a college dance program. Requirements

Experience or a strong background in dance through education, teaching, and/or performing.
A solid foundation in multiple dance styles, including those taught by the studio.
A genuine interest in teaching and experience working with young dancers.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a routine background check.

Open evening availability and the ability to substitute as needed.
