About The Position

Region 14 Schools is seeking substitute classroom teachers to provide instruction when regular teachers are absent. The substitute instructs students according to lesson plans, maintains classroom routines and a safe, orderly learning environment, and completes other assigned duties. The position is district-wide, starts immediately, and is open until filled. Compensation is $130 per day. This role is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students and facilitate learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Provide classroom instruction as outlined in lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Maintain established school and classroom routines and procedures.
• Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintain reasonable rules of conduct.
• Communicate effectively.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
