About The Position
This position is for a Substitute Cafeteria Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves assisting in the preparation of school cafeteria food, serving meals, and performing clean-up duties during and after meal times. Shifts are available in 4-hour, 5-hour, and 6-hour durations.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Your application is not complete until three current references have been received. These references must include your current Principal or supervisor.
Nice To Haves
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Experience in food production preferred
- Experience working in school food service environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of school cafeteria food, meal service and clean up during and after the meal
- Follow all verbal instructions for menu requirements and serving requirements
- Maintain high standards of quality in food production, food storage, sanitation and safety practices
