About The Position
RCEL Substitute Assistant Teacher (per diem) is a per diem, as needed position within a 12-month program. The role involves assisting in classrooms and supporting the educational environment. Specific duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the assignment. C.E.S. reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Childhood Development (CDA) credential or equivalent.
- A minimum of 12 college credits semester hours in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or early childhood special education that encompasses the following: child development and learning of children birth through kindergarten; family and community relationships; observing, documenting, and assessing young children; teaching and learning; and professional practices and development.
- Letter of intent.

- At least 3 references.
