About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Substitute After-School Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our elementary students in our after-school program. This role involves stepping in as needed to lead structured activities, assist with homework, and ensure the well-being of students. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, and passionate about working with children.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with elementary-age children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with elementary students in after-school activities, ensuring a positive and safe environment.
- Assist students with homework, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Light sweeping, wiping down tables, and trash removal
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
- Maintain program rules, policies, and safety procedures.
