About The Position
The Adjunct Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor provides clinical instruction and supervision for students enrolled in the Practical Nursing program, ensuring alignment with Florida Career and Technical Education (CTE) frameworks and industry standards. This position supports student learning in real-world healthcare settings while maintaining compliance with state regulations and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate.
- Two years of verified nursing experience.
- Current and Clear Florida LPN license required.
- Ability to pass an AHCA and FBI Background Level 2 check with no limiting infractions.
- Ability to cohesively work in an academic team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching preferred.
- Dedication to quality engaging instruction required.
- Current and clear Florida RN license preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- To teach efficiently and faithfully, using the books and material required, following the prescribed courses of study, and employing approved methods of instruction.
- Provides clinical instruction and supervision for students enrolled in the Practical Nursing program.
