About The Position
Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Requirements
- Associates Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology (Unofficial Transcript required to consider application)
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability for overtime and emergency callouts.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Must be willing to meet the 25 mile domicile requirement.

Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of data communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP 3) a plus.
- Prior experience in electric and gas utility or high voltage industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, test and maintain the following equipment: Electro-mechanical and microprocessor based protective and control relays.
- Install, commission, test and maintain: Internal circuitry on high voltage transformers and circuit breakers.
- Install, commission, test and maintain: SCADA (supervisory and telemetry) RTUs.
- Perform high voltage switching and other duties that support primary duties.
