This role involves designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities, ranging from 12kV to 500kV. The position offers exposure to the power systems industry, including how renewable energy integrates into the electric system. Candidates will utilize their knowledge of digital logic design and AC/DC circuits to design electrical projects, ensuring compliance with quality control, safe work practices, project scope, schedule, and budget. The engineer will be part of a design team and will work with client standards to implement designs. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days a week in the Charlotte, NC office.
