McCall Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Substation Maintenance Technician. This role is based out of the Laurens, SC shop and requires up to 75% travel. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to travel/work OT as needed
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of prior electric utility experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Testing of High, Medium, and Low voltage electrical power equipment including but not limited to Circuit Breakers, Regulators, Transformers, and Switchgear
- Operating test equipment including but not limited to Power Factor Tester, Ductor, Megger, Hi-Pot, AC/DC volt-ohm-millimeters, and various kinds of hand-held power and non-power tools related to the power industry
- Infrared testing
- Prepping and painting power equipment
