A Substation Field Technician is responsible for acquiring field data in electrical substations and along transmission line corridors. You’ll work in a field environment and make measurements on electrical conductors, rigid bus connections, and other equipment using proprietary geospatial software. Your knowledge of conductor sizing, code words, and substation design will be helpful to the success of these projects. Work will be performed in the field, at client sites, up to 90% of the time. Field work could be anywhere in the continental US, but mainly in the mid-west, south and southeast.
