Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
  • Driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in substation research and development
  • Experience in design or maintenance of transmission equipment
  • Experience with 3D modeling programs
  • Experience with relevant engineering codes

Responsibilities

  • Develop design projects featuring sophisticated elements, applying industry standards and established procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Research and conduct moderately complex engineering studies, using group expertise.
  • Work collaboratively to establish comprehensive design criteria and standards, drawing upon diverse expertise and viewpoints to ensure robust, innovative solutions.
  • Recognize, thoroughly investigate, and assess issues. Formulate effective solutions tailored to each problem.
  • Propose innovative and enhanced practices and procedures to optimize performance and efficiency.
