Requirements
- 2-5+ years of substation design experience at a utility, municipality or consulting firm
- Experience with Physical & P&C Design
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD modeling software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work long hours, and occasionally weekends
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and development of design concepts for substation projects
- Prepare detailed design drafts and visual content using substation design software
- Collaborate with senior designers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives
- Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project guidelines
- Maintain organized records of design drafts and related documents
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and design proposals
- Conduct research to stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques
