Substation CAD Technician

About The Position
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician opening. The CAD Technician supports the Substation group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs under close supervision.
Requirements
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- Good organization and communication skills
- Must have permanent authorization to work in US
Nice To Haves
- Two year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting preferred
- Knowledge of Microstation is a plus
- Knowledge of Autodesk Revit software a plus
- Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control and/or physical design would be beneficial
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks within the Substation department designing/drafting projects.
- Assure projects are completed on schedule.
