About The Position

We are looking for Substance Use Professionals (LCAS/LCAS-A, CADC, CCS) to provide Community Support Team (CST) services in the McDowell County, NC area. CST is designed to work with adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs who have complex treatment needs be able to live in the community. CST is an intensive community-based rehabilitation team service that provides direct treatment and restorative interventions as well as case management. CST is designed to provide: symptom stability by reducing presenting psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms; restorative interventions for development of interpersonal, community, coping and independent living skills; psychoeducation; first responder intervention to deescalate a crisis; and service coordination and ensure linkage to community services and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• A valid LCAS/LCAS-A, CADC, or CCS
• Two years of experience working directly with adults with SUD

Responsibilities

• Provide Community Support Team (CST) services
• Work with adults with Mental Illness and Substance Use needs who have complex treatment needs
• Provide direct treatment and restorative interventions
• Provide case management
• Achieve symptom stability by reducing presenting psychiatric or substance use disorder symptoms
• Provide restorative interventions for development of interpersonal, community, coping and independent living skills
• Provide psychoeducation
• Act as first responder intervention to deescalate a crisis
• Provide service coordination and ensure linkage to community services and resources
