Community Support Team (CST) Substance Use Professional (3333)
About The Position
Carolina Outreach is seeking a Full-time Community Support Team Substance Abuse Professional to provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling using evidence-based approaches. This role supports clients in developing skills for recovery, relapse prevention, and long-term stability. The professional will also provide crisis support and intervention, develop and maintain Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) reflecting client treatment goals, monitor progress, revise treatment plans as needed, and coordinate services with families, community partners, and other providers. This description outlines the general scope and level of work for this role and is not intended to include every duty or responsibility that may be required of employees in this position.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, social work or counseling
- Must hold a LCAS/A or Substance use Certification in NC
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with care teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
- Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
