This position will work within the Division of Care and Treatment Services, in the WI Department of Health Services (DHS). This position will have the primary responsibility for managing substance use prevention services in Wisconsin. The duties include development and coordination of evidence-based prevention practices, establishing and upholding grantee monitoring as it relates to achievement with the scope of work and intent of funding, contract development, technical assistance and training, and the creation of required plans and reports. This position is also responsible for assessing the design, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of existing and emerging resources and services with the intent of strengthening and improving statewide prevention efforts. This is a terminal, 12-month appointment with the possibility of extension or conversion to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. A valid driver's license is required, and employees may use their own transportation or receive approval for University Car Fleet usage. Employment is conditional pending the results of a Pre-hire Driver Authorization Check.
