Door County Government is seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional to serve as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor. This role is within the Health & Human Services Behavioral Health Division, which provides mental health and substance use treatment services for Door County residents. The division offers a range of services including outpatient counseling, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and support for co-occurring disorders. The SUD Counselor will be part of an interdisciplinary team committed to strengthening and expanding the community's system of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to advocate for those affected by addiction and help elevate their voice within the services provided.
