Requirements

Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, with an applicable license or certification such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or CAADC, or eligibility to obtain.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
Associate’s Degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
High School Diploma with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling in a supportive inpatient setting.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches based on individual needs.
Complete timely and accurate documentation within the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR).
Participate in Level of Care Assessments and support appropriate treatment recommendations.
Assist with utilization review, discharge planning, and coordination of aftercare services.
Collaborate with clinical, medical, and support staff to promote positive client outcomes.
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
Respond appropriately to behavioral or clinical crises and follow established safety protocols.
Contribute to curriculum development, clinical training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Complete required training and other duties as assigned.
