As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will provide client-centered clinical care within our inpatient setting, facilitating engaging individual, group, and family therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with clinical best practices and accreditation standards. Requirements

Master’s Degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology) with licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or certification (CAADC), or eligibility to obtain.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with CADC, or eligibility to obtain.
Associate’s Degree in a related field with CAAC, or eligibility to obtain.
High School Diploma with CAAC.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social functioning.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client progress and outcomes.
Facilitate therapy sessions (individual, family, and group) in a structured and supportive setting.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR).
Assist with utilization review and discharge/aftercare planning.
Support curriculum development, clinical training, and continuous improvement efforts.
Conduct Level of Care Assessments and participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
Uphold a safe, therapeutic environment and respond to crises appropriately.
Complete required trainings and perform additional duties as assigned.
