Substance Use Disorder Therapists provide individual, family and group psychotherapy for adults and appropriate children with substance use disorders, provide psychoeducation, provides crisis intervention/emergency services as needed, performs clinical diagnostic and assessment functions specific to SUD treatment, and develops and implements initial and revised Individual Service Plan. They complete all appropriate case documentation and case planning information, complete all necessary reports per agency policy and protocol, complete appropriate documentation of collateral contacts, and participates in clinical supervision. Other duties include linking client with CPST resources, Psychiatry/MAT services, monitoring client care and progress, and collaborating with other providers when appropriate. Additionally, SUD Therapists attend required meetings, and provides other administrative functions as needed, while conforming to all relevant agency standards/regulations. Additional duties as assigned.
