Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) - CERTIFIED to provide substance abuse screening, brief interventions, therapy for individuals and groups, and coordinate referrals for patients. The role also involves providing leadership and training to staff on chemical dependency issues and serving as a subject matter expert on the cross-functional treatment team. FHCSD has a long-standing mission to provide caring, affordable, high-quality health care and supportive services to everyone, with a special commitment to uninsured, low-income, and medically underserved persons. As one of the largest federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the country, FHCSD operates over 90 sites across San Diego County, offering a wide range of services including primary care, behavioral health, dental, vision, and substance use treatment programs.
