Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is seeking a certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) to provide substance abuse screening, brief interventions, and individual and group therapy. This role also involves coordinating referrals for patients, providing leadership and training to staff on chemical dependency issues, and serving as a subject matter expert within the cross-functional treatment team. FHCSD has a long-standing mission of providing caring, affordable, high-quality health care and supportive services to all individuals, with a particular focus on the uninsured, low-income, and medically underserved populations in San Diego County. As one of the largest federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the country, FHCSD operates over 90 sites offering a wide range of services including primary care, behavioral health, dental, vision, and substance use treatment.
