Your Role at Sana Lake Sana Lake is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Substance Use Counselor passionate about helping individuals and families recover!
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or GED)
- Experience working in the field of substance use and/or mental health
- Certification as a qualified Substance Use Disorder Counselor by the Missouri Credentialing Board (Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor II (MAADC II) and Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC))
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of member care activities as directed by the Program Director.
- Have a caseload and provide services that include individual and group counseling.
- Conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments and develop an interpretive summary from the information gathered in the assessment.
- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan.
- Assist in coordinating discharge planning.
- Maintain communication between treatment team members, family, referral sources, and other service providers as needed.
