About The Position

An exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to drive SUD treatment programs in a residential care setting! Harmony Hill School, Inc. (HHS) is a private, non-profit organization providing high-quality residential care, day treatment programs, and education services to dual-diagnosed adolescent males ages 8-18 with social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Our beautiful school campus is located in Glocester, RI – just a 20-30 minute commute from many towns in the RI/CT/MA area. HHS is seeking a caring, experienced SUD Clinician (LCDP/LICSW) to join our team and work collaboratively with our CEO and Clinical Director to develop and implement our new on-campus substance use disorders treatment program based on the Seeking Safety treatment model. This is a full time position (37.5 hours) working onsite Monday-Friday with a flexible daily schedule within the hours of 8am-6pm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree along with LCDP or LICSW license is required
  • 1-3 years past SUD treatment experience is required
  • Experience working with youth in the care of the RI Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF)
  • Physical requirements of this position include: frequent standing, sitting, walking; occasional running; lifting of up to 20lbs
  • Must have the ability to be trained in and implement de-escalation techniques including youth restraint when necessary
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must successfully complete required driving record, criminal, and child abuse/neglect pre-employment screenings and maintain favorable results during employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Seeking Safety or similar model is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to plan, structure and launch SUD treatment programming
  • Train and coach clinical and residential team members in program delivery. Serve as HHS's SUD subject matter expert. Create and lead in-service staff trainings
  • Maintain a small caseload to orient youth, create individualized treatment plans, conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions, and provide overall support to youth development and treatment goals
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review and support youth care and treatment plans
  • Participate in crisis intervention situations
  • Maintain timely accurate youth treatment and billing records. SUD Clinician will be required to obtain Medicaid and insurance credentials for billing purposes
