About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor in Greensboro, NC. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options. Our comprehensive approach aims to combat the opioid epidemic and guide individuals toward long-term recovery. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be registered with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Certification board - applicants who are not registered will not be considered for employment. LCAS, LCAS-A, CADC or CADC-I
Candidate must be willing to start early in the morning, as work hours start at 5:00 AM.
If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable abstinence is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience treating opiate-addicted patients is not a requirement but is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients.
Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs.
Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning.
Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements.
Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services.
Facilitates urine drug screening for patients.
