About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join their team in Morristown, TN. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The organization is dedicated to combating the opioid epidemic and guiding individuals toward recovery through a comprehensive approach. Crossroads operates outpatient, office-based clinics across multiple states and is committed to diversity and inclusion. This role involves providing direct patient care and contributing to a supportive treatment environment.
Requirements
- General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
- LADAC, LMSW, LADAC II, LCSW, LPC, and LADAC III certifications/licenses.
Nice To Haves
- Lived addiction experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
- Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
- Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
- Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
- Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
- Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
