About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team in Louisville, KY. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Our comprehensive approach is designed to combat the opioid epidemic and guide individuals toward recovery. Requirements

General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be a licensed or certified counselor in Kentucky (CADC) or in the process of obtaining a TCADC, LCADC, LPCC, LCSW or LMFT.

Nice To Haves

Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
