About The Position

JSAS HealthCare, Inc is a non-profit outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) located in Neptune, NJ. JSAS HealthCare, Inc has been providing medication assisted treatment services to Monmouth and Ocean County residents since 1984.

Position Summary:
The Substance Abuse Counselor/Counselor Intern works as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment services necessary to support recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

Requirements

• Candidate must have BA/BS in behavioral health or related field

Nice To Haves

• CADC, LCADC, LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Completes assessment of each patient using approved assessment tools.
• Develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Documentation of patient progress in electronic health record.
• Facilitates the transition/discharge process, including arrangements for follow-up services.
