About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Substance Abuse Clerk for a full-time position at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The Substance Abuse Clerk is responsible for scheduling appointments and the routine processing of documents for the substance abuse program within a state correctional facility. This includes accurately creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and/or filing documents to facilitate retrieval, review, and processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of medical records/medical office experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Computer/Data Entry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviewing all documents/transactions for correctness and completeness
- Taking any necessary action to appropriately address any problems, errors, or deficiencies
- Maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences
