About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Substance Abuse Clerk for a full-time position at the Pendleton Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments and the routine processing of documents for the substance abuse program within a state correctional facility. This includes accurately creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and/or filing documents to facilitate retrieval, review, and processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of medical records/medical office experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Computer/Data Entry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviewing all documents/transactions for correctness and completeness
- Taking any necessary action to appropriately address any problems, errors, or deficiencies
- Maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences
