About The Position

Fluker's Cricket Farm is an insect agriculture company offering insect ingredients towards the insect consumption pet marketplace. Our mission is to contribute to a more circular food system by producing sustainable insect ingredients for pet food and pet nutrition. Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to work with insects (crickets, mealworms, roaches, etc.)
Able to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Able to pay close attention to detail and make precise measurements
Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have a positive attitude
Able to work well in both a team-based environment as well as with limited supervision
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Be able to work well under pressure and with time constraints
Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
Be able to work in hot and humid conditions
Possesses strong multitasking and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

Ensures all personal safety equipment is in good condition and maintains proper usage
Observes and adheres to all safety and security procedures
Maintains both clean and safe work environments, and ensures all work areas are clean each day
Able to responsibly mix chemicals for sanitation with the appropriate ratios
Perform other duties as assigned
