About The Position

Atlas is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician to support the U.S. Military and other government entities. This full-time position is based in Groton, Connecticut, and involves onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy maintenance procedures and cyber system instructions. Travel may be up to 10%. The stated pay range is $50,814.40 to $77,001.60, depending on experience and credentials.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Possess and be able to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret-level security clearance.
• Vocational or technical training beyond high school and at least five years of job-related experience, or equivalent.
• Experience investigating and troubleshooting operational hardware and software, and designing solutions to problems.
• High school diploma and technical military or trade school/training beyond high school, with at least five years of job-related experience or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• VA Class experience.
• AN/BLQ-10 EW System experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at company and client sites.
• Perform or coordinate testing, evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks for AN/BLQ-10 systems.
• Validate and verify electronic systems related to operation of the BLQ-10 system.
• Develop technical and engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operating procedures, and maintainability improvements.
• Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
• Train others in system operation and performance.
• Serve as the on-site customer interface for equipment and system installation, testing, surveys, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications, and test procedures.
