Join our team in Groton to maintain, test, and evolve the systems you’ve operated, all while trading the rack for a real bed and a predictable schedule. The Mission As our Subject Matter Expert, you won’t just be turning wrenches; you’ll be the bridge between the fleet and the engineers. System Ownership: Lead the installation, certification, and checkout of BLQ-10 systems at both company and client sites. Technical Authority: Perform critical validations and verifications of operational electronic systems to ensure they are fleet-ready. Modernize the Fleet: Develop and refine technical data for PMS, troubleshooting procedures, and Engineering Change Instructions (ECI). Train the Next Watch: Mentor and train the next generation of operators on system performance and nuances. Direct Impact: Serve as the onsite technical lead, interfacing directly with the customer to solve hardware/software hurdles in real-time.

Requirements

  • Active Secret US Government Clearance (Note: US Citizenship required to maintain a Secret clearance).
  • A High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of practical experience OR an Associate’s/Military Tech School (Class A or B) with 3+ years of experience.
  • A proven track record of troubleshooting complex hardware and software under pressure.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support mission-critical tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with VA Class SSN platforms.
  • Eligibility for a Top-Secret clearance.
